Services

Modern eye care, delivered with warmth.

Every exam is customized to the individual. Below are the services offered at our Costco Optical clinics — call your closest location for specific availability.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

A full evaluation of vision and eye health using modern diagnostic technology — refraction, binocular vision, eye pressure, and retinal screening.

  • Updated glasses & contact lens prescription
  • Screening for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration
  • Digital retinal photos available at most locations
  • Recommended every 1–2 years for adults, yearly for kids and 60+

Who it's for: All ages — kids through seniors

Contact Lens Exams & Fittings

Contact lens exams include everything in a comprehensive exam plus a fitting and trial to make sure your lenses are comfortable, healthy and clear.

  • Daily, bi-weekly and monthly disposables
  • Toric lenses for astigmatism and multifocal for reading
  • Specialty & hard-to-fit lenses
  • New wearer training included

Who it's for: First-time and existing contact lens wearers

Medical Eye Care

Diagnosis and management of eye disease — often billed through your medical insurance rather than vision insurance.

  • Glaucoma testing and monitoring
  • Cataract evaluation and co-management
  • Diabetic eye exams
  • Red eye, infections and foreign body removal

Who it's for: Patients with symptoms, diagnoses, or family history

Pediatric Eye Exams

Many childhood vision problems are silent — kids assume everyone sees the way they do. A proper exam catches issues that school screenings miss.

  • Eye teaming, tracking and focusing
  • Amblyopia (lazy eye) & strabismus screening
  • Screen-time and reading fatigue guidance
  • First exam recommended around age 3–5

Who it's for: Infants, toddlers and school-age children

Dry Eye Treatment

Chronic dryness, burning, tearing or blurry vision usually has a treatable cause. We build a plan that actually fits your day-to-day.

  • In-clinic tear film evaluation
  • Prescription and over-the-counter therapies
  • Lifestyle, screen use and nutrition guidance
  • Ongoing follow-up to adjust treatment

Who it's for: Adults with irritation, contact lens discomfort or screen strain

Advanced technology, thoughtful care.

We use the most up-to-date equipment to ensure the best possible eye care — and take the time to explain what we see. You'll leave every visit knowing exactly what's happening with your vision.
